Mahir's Role at Tinit
Mahir joined Tinit in September 2010 and trained in .Net technologies. He is involved with ongoing development of eCommerce sites, business and collaboration tools and several CMS based websites and web applications.
Mahir uses C# in the backend as object oriented approach to meet customers' requirements, blending it with the technologies such as Asp.net, MSSql, Ajax, Web services, JQuery, JavaScript, Json, CSS. Mahir involves in all stages of the N-tier application logic, from data layer development to presentation layer improvements.
About
Mahir likes trekking, taking photographs and travelling. He enjoys reading science magazines and National Geographic, learning new technologies and researching new approaches to solve the problems that bother humanity.
He is interested in artificial intelligence, game theory, computer vision, agile software developments, and playing all sorts of games.
He is also a member of IEEE, Istanbul Electrical Engineers Asscociation and Hastings Rock & Fell Club.
Prior to Tinit
Prior to Tinit Mahir completed his MSc in Computer Systems and Software Engineering with Merit (2:1 overall grade) in June 2010.
In his final project he used digital image processing, camera calibration, DLT (Direct Linear Transformation), MDLT, advanced linear algebra techniques under Matlab scientific programming environment to determine 3D position of a bright light using web cameras.
He also took courses in Embedded Systems Design, Engineering of Advanced Distributed Systems, Research and Methodology, Developments in Information Age Technology, Strategy and Management.
Mahir's Qualifications
2:1 MSc (Merit), Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the Medway School of Engineering, University of Greenwich.
BEng (Hons), Electrical-Electronics Engineering from the University of Kirikkale, Turkey.
