David's Role at Tinit
David's role at Tinit is that of Junior O&M Author, which consists of inputting documents and information into the O&M manuals, contacting all of the various sub-contractors for information regarding their works on various projects, and making tea and coffee (someone has to do it)

About
Outside of work, David spends a lot of his free time watching and making videos for YouTube, which consist mainly of quad biking montages and gaming 'lets plays' and guides.

At the weekend, David enjoys quad biking, boxing, PC gaming and video editing.

Prior to Tinit
Prior to Tinit, David attended what is now known as Sussex Coast College in Hastings, where he was a Business I.T student.

David realised that the course wasn't for him and spent the next year looking for work.

David began to work for Tinit through a scheme called 'Work Pairings', which aims to get long term unemployed young adults into apprenticeship schemes and permanent work.

David passed the Tinit standard with flying colours and is now an integrated member of the O&M team.

Qualifications
David’s GCSE results were above average for the school in which he attended.

David completed a Peer Mediation Course, which allowed him to attempt to resolve conflicts within the school in a diplomatic manner, which is something that David would like to expand on later in life.

David Portch joined Tinit in June 2011 as a Junior O&M author dealing with our collaboration tools, contacting sub-contractors and helping create our digital O&M manuals.

Outside of work David enjoys writing short stories or novels, video editing and production, quad-biking, amateur boxing, PC gaming and cooking... (sometimes).
