Services / Business and Collaboration Tools

Tinit have made whole host of business collaboration tools for a range of clients in various different industries.

These tools enable users to easily interact with a specific task or project.

O&M Manual Collaboration Tool

The O&M manual for a construction project will typically consist of compiling 1,500 files form dozens of different sources and getting the end result reviewed and vetted by several different sets of consultants. The bespoke tools we have developed for these purposes have other general applications.

  • managing large data flows and building a rigorous audit trail
  • making processes easy to use even by people who might struggle with IT systems
  • multi layered security systems that control exactly what data is available to each user, but is easy to administrate
  • Templating services
  • Administrative back end systems to enable the manuals to be built
  • Word documents with built in Macros to enable specific display functionality

In fact, we bring together all the technical skills that we have developed over the years, and apply them to a specific industry problem in the jargon of that industry.

For our Operations and Maintenance Manuals we have created numerous websites for each of our clients that enables them to upload project data/images and much more.  These are then automatically combined and zipped to enable us to download everything that a user uploads in one go.

There is a system to manage manual versions, reviews, supplied files and comments which the client can post questions/feedback about the manual, and we can then respond.  These logs are kept in a chronological order for future reference.

Each client has their own website, and each user of that website has their own log in, so that we have a record of who has uploaded/downloaded which documents, and it also adds a level of security to prevent companies seeing each other’s project documents.

It makes the whole process much more streamlined, as the sub-contractors all know where to go to upload their documents, the project managers can all log in to see the progress reports, and we have everything in an one big, easy to manage space.

Task Lists
We have developed a task list which enables us to manage each of our client projects, no matter what they may be.

The task list has individual log in’s and a varying level of admin permissions, this allows us as admins to be able to see tasks uploaded by all of our clients, whereas the client can only see their own project tasks.

The system has task priority levels which the user can assign to a task.  These range from ‘1 – Urgent’ to ‘4 – Low’, and once assigned to a task, appear colour coded in priority order on the task list.

The system has various filter systems, notes and everything else that you may require to make use of a task management system.

Holiday Calendar
One of our clients required a calendar to track staff holidays.  We developed a calendar system for them to enable each user the ability to log into the calendar system and see when their colleagues have booked holiday and enter their own holiday into the system.

This then sends an alert to the management to review the holiday request and authorise/decline it.
