Economic Lifestyle is a family owned business that sells life-lease high quality, private retirement property across the United Kingdom, with a mission to seize every opportunity to deliver outstanding service. They are associated with a number of investors, including the largest merchant bank in the UK – Close Brothers. They tailor their unique solutions to suit their client`s needs, whether their client`s are looking to move or want to stay in their current home.
Economic Lifestyle originally came to us for help with their internal property database and now we have built their brand new website too. Built in ASP.NET with an ASP.NET content management system and SQL Server database, this website will be state of the art for years to come.
Data is exchanged over a secure connection on a regular basis with the companies internal database ensuring that property details are kept up-to-date, new enquiries are quickly dealt with and the duplication of data is a thing of the past.
When designing the site, we took into consideration the fact that Economic Lifestyle`s visitors would mainly be of retirement age, we have also made extensive use of CSS to enable font sizes to be enlarged throughout the website making it just as easy to use for those hard of sight.
Key features of Economic Lifestyle`s new website :
- Searchable database of articles, properties, events, case studies and press releases
- Automatic property data feed to Rightmove.co.uk (including images).
- Data transfer to and from Economic Lifestyle`s internal company database (also managed by TiNiT) i.e. property information exchanged both ways and new applicant information is downloaded.
- Online polls and historical results which can be useful for marketing purposes.
- Online content management system allowing for:
- All dynamic aspects of the website to be controlled e.g. articles, properties, events....
- Newsletters and articles to be created and previewed before going live.
- Permissions to be set for each user to different parts of the content
management system.
- An audit trail for online user changes.
